Hiveonline: Marketplace for SMEs and Entrepreneurs
Looking for the sophisticated software engineering?Let's talk
4ire Labs team was connected with Sofie Blakstad in 2017. Sofie is the CEO of the HiveOnline company. At that time, she had an idea to build a B2B/B2C application for SMEs and individuals, and we decided to collaborate with Sofie on the MVP of that project.
The main goal was to develop a mobile application that would operate as a marketplace for SMEs and entrepreneurs. Users should be able to place their orders, purchase services, and make payments within the platform. The idea was to develop an app where the business of any size and industry could provide their services and find vendors or providers of any kind of services.
4ire Labs contribution and value
We were collaborating for more than 2 years. Our experts started with architecture vision development. Once it was finalized, we started the development of the whole application.
For HiveOnline project, 4ire Labs allocated a dedicated team which had the following composition:
- 2 iOS engineer
- 1 Backend engineer
- 1 QA specialist
- 1 Designer
- 1 PM
Our Project manager was on top of the communication between the client and the team.
The main features that were developed for the HiveOnline app:
- Personal profiles for Users
- Personal profiles for SMEs
- Catalog or search results
- Messages and chat
- Unique dynamic Contracts
- Unique Milestones system
- Personal E-wallet
As the idea was to have an integrated payment system in the platform, we used Mondido payments for the MVP. All the information about transactions placed within the integrated E-Wallet: List of transfers in and out of the wallet, Current balance of wallet, Transfer funds to another wallet, Push notification on receipt of funds.
Why 4ire Labs
- Nordic presence
- Stong in-house specialists
- Expertise in the development of similar projects
- Wide experience in fintech and blockchain development
Our collaboration with HiveOnline stopped after the MVP, as their team changed their focus to African countries. Nevertheless, it was a very successful and productive collaboration. For now, we wish all the best to Sofie with her current development.
